That caught the eye of Arizona State Head Coach Bobby Hurley. 06/10/2015 Sam became Bobby Hurley’s first 2016 recruit. Sam transferred to Rainier Beach his Senior season and averaged 23 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game, that helped Rainier Beach win the 3A State Championship and Player of the Year.
